In typography, the page footer of a printed page is a section located under the main text, or body.  The footer identifies the space at the bottom of a page displayed on a computer or other device. Some software automatically inserts certain information in the footer, the logo, organization name, the name of the author, title or other useful information (links, copyright, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) The ASA committee footer is duplicated over all of the pages in the document, with the page number increasing accordingly.

Four our purposes, The FOOTER  region of each committee website is reserved for ASA use and the information there will be predefined and included in the template so that each web handler will not have to affect change to it.  The footer region will contain contact information for ASA, our mission statement and other pertinent information which may change from time to time.
